We are a family-orientated therapy centre.
We believe parents/ caretakers play an important role in helping our clients during their early years of development, and especially in the early intervention program. Hence, we strongly advocate the presence of primary caretaker(s) in every therapy session.
Our sessions cater to every individual’s needs, even if the client is in a dyad or group session. Each will have an individualized six- monthly treatment plan after a comprehensive assessment, and the therapist will prepare a lesson plan for every single session the client attends. Our therapy session focuses on the child’s potential to succeed, and emphasizes on “Learn to Play, and Play to Learn,” and the caretaker’s participation in the session is critical for the success of the therapy. Caretaker(s) will be trained in the session for carry-over activities at home so that the client would be able to generalize the skills he/she acquires in the session.
Our centre uses an eclectic approach in the treatment of the client, we called it the Communication for Life Paradigm, which is a combination of all the various techniques and styles we adopt.
